I used to love the Starbucks Frappuccino’s, but they are so unhealthy and loaded with unwanted calories. This version is quick and easy to make at home and is a decadent way to enjoy your morning or afternoon coffee as a delicious treat!

What you need to make this Frappuccino:

  • Clean organic cold coffee
  • Raw hazelnuts
  • Almond milk or non-dairy milk
  • Raw cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • Dates
  • Flax seed
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla

Soaking the hazelnuts gives this drink a creamier consistency but if your cravings won’t let you wait you can skip the soaking step and put all ingredients in a blender, it will still be delicious you may just have to blend a little longer to allow the nuts to really get creamy so you don’t have a gritty texture.

Do I need to use raw hazelnuts?

No, but this is a great opportunity to add nutrients to this recipe and raw nuts are the best way to go.

What if I’m not vegan or dairy free?

You can sub your favorite dairy milk and it will be delicious!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cold coffee


  • ¼ cup raw hazelnuts soaked for an hour)
  • ⅛ cup almond milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 3 dates (pitted)
  • ½ teaspoon flax seed
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions



  • Drain and rinse your soaked hazelnuts.
  • Add all ingredients except ice cubes, blend until smooth.
  • Add ice cubes and blend until desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately.
