This chocolate cherry almond smoothie is loaded with nutrients but tastes like a treat! I love the combination of chocolate and cherries it reminds me of a black forest cake. This recipe is loaded with healthy fats and protein to keep you full longer. I love to have this in the morning when I am craving chocolate and not feeling like my usual green smoothie.
I really enjoy having smoothies for breakfast because it’s sweet but healthy and I really enjoy something quick and nutritious without all the mess that way I can focus on the kids and getting our morning routine going.

My kids love this smoothie, and they think it’s dessert but its super healthy so I feel good giving it to them. It’s not too sweet so if you want something sweeter just add 1-2 dates or 1 tablespoon maple syrup.
