This Sumac Tahini Salad Dressings is by far my most favorite dressing right now. I paired it with my Warm Rainbow Quinoa Salad this time and oh man my mouth was bursting with flavor! Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes depending on your spicy tolerance and liking.

This dressing is packed with flavor and very versatile, making it really wonderful to drizzle over roasted veggies or use as a raw veggie dip.

What you need to make this amazing dressing:

  • Tahini sauce
  • Sumac spice, ground
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Lemon
  • Garlic
  • Maple syrup
  • Filtered water

Sumac is a beautiful spice with powerful anti-inflammatory benefits! Step aside turmeric, may I preset Sumac spice! It’s packed with antioxidants as well and has the ability to neutralize free radicals. Are you ready to put sumac in EVERYTHING yet? I know…me too! This dressing comes together in minutes and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. I make a large batch and add it to multiple lunch and dinner items.

Description

Sumac Tahini Salad Dressing with all the flavors; zesty garlic, sweet maple sugar, spicy red pepper flakes, rich tahini sauce. Flavorful and nutritious!


Ingredients

Units Scale



  • ½ cup tahini sauce


  • 1 tablespoon ground sumac spice
  • ½ tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice liking)
  • Juice of 1 whole lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoon water

Instructions



  • Smash and chop garlic.


  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until well combined.

  1. Can be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks and freezer for up to 6 months.
  2. I love this paired with my Warm Rainbow Quinoa Salad but this will be good on just about any salad.
